Students entering their senior year of high school in September of 2009 are invited to apply for nominations to the United States Service Academies. The four U.S. Service Academies that require nominations are the
Representative Markey advises each applicant to visit each academy’s website and contact the corresponding Office of Admissions. In order to be considered for a Congressional Nomination, the applicant must be a
The Congressman also asks that all interested students submit a personal data form; a high school transcript; SAT and/or ACT scores; and three letters of recommendation. These four items must be submitted to the Rep. Markey’s Medford District Office by November 1, 2009.
A Service Academy Board will be appointed to interview each applicant in December of 2009. The Congressional Nomination process ends on January 31, 2010.
