MEDFORD, MA – U.S. Representative Edward J. Markey (D-Malden) announced today that he will hold a town meeting on Social Security reform on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 7 PM at The National Heritage Museum, 33 Marrett Road, Lexington, MA.
Markey will be joined by a panel of experts including Deborah Banda, State Director, AARP Massachusetts and other invited guests. The panel will discuss proposals that have been mentioned to “reform” Social Security, what is sure to be one of the biggest political issues of the year, and take questions from the audience.
