Weekend Events in Melrose, Weston

This weekend, Rep. Markey will discuss the critical issues of global warming and energy dependence at two public forums in Melrose on Sunday, March 16th from 12:30 – 2:30 PM at the Melrose Memorial Hall and in Weston on the same day, from 4:30 – 6:30 PM at Regis College.

As chairman of the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming, Rep. Markey has spent the last year focusing on the scientific and economic evidence and impacts of our planetary crisis. These meetings will also be an opportunity for local resiudents to learn about how they can help reduce the impact of global warming.
