WASHINGTON, D.C. - Thursday April 19, 2007 Boy Scout Troop 603 from Malden, Massachusetts visits with Congressman Markey, Governor Patrick and Senator Kennedy at Congressman Markey's office.

Washington, D.C. - Wednesday, April 18, 2007, approximately 250 constituents from Massachusetts’ 7th District visited with Congressman Markey for a unique experience at the U.S. Capitol Building during last week’s April school vacation. 

April 19, 2007: As part of their trip to Washington, DC Boy Scout Troop 603 of Malden, Massachusetts visited with Congressman Markey, Governor Patrick and Senator Kennedy after a tour of the United States Captiol.

April 18, 2007: Rep. Markey received special permission from Speaker Pelosi to greet the group on the floor of the House, where he spoke about his thirty year career in the House of Representatives and answered questions about Congress from his constituents.    Following this presentation, many from the group attended the innaugural hearing of the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming, which Rep. Markey chairs.
