Energy and Commerce Subcommittee Hearing

“The BP Oil Spill:  Accounting for the Spilled Oil and Ensuring the

Safety of Seafood from the Gulf”

WASHINGTON, DC — The Subcommittee on Energy and Environment will hold a hearing entitled “The BP Oil Spill:  Accounting for the Spilled Oil and Ensuring the Safety of Seafood from the Gulf” on Thursday, August 19, 2010, in 2123 Rayburn House Office Building.  This hearing will explore how much oil could remain in the Gulf of Mexico from the BP oil spill, and some of the potential impacts to the marine environment and fisheries that are associated with the spill and its cleanup.
